Anyone who has moved after residing in a home for many years understands that pain involved in moving. Aside from the cost and aggravation, you also get to deal with all the stuff you have accumulated! Given this potential hassle, why did Private Wealth Solutions decide to move from Woodland Hills to Calabasas? As a side note, if you live in the San Fernando Valley, let me apologize for the additional travel to our new office. If you live in the Thousand Oaks/Westlake/Agoura area, you’re welcome!
We need an office space that better accommodates the changing dynamics of our firm. As you know, Private Wealth Solutions is adopting a “team approach” in meeting your financial needs. The large offices and cubicles of our past office simply don’t accommodate this model. Our new space features smaller executive offices and a large collaborative space where our team can work together and solve problems. We believe our long-term success hinges on a team of individuals who share our vision for meeting all our client’s financial needs and share our passion for exceeding their expectations. When we combine this concept with team members who bring humility, brain power and differing perspectives, we believe you have a winning recipe.
We also considered the most likely place to recruit team members who fit this mold. According to US News and World Report the Conejo Valley Unified School District produces better test results at all grade levels than the Los Angeles Unified School District1. Because we are looking for team members who put down roots in their community, we think a young professional looking to start a family is more likely to locate in the Conejo Valley than the San Fernando Valley.
Additionally, the amenities of our current building are appealing to us. It’s one thing to say we encourage a balanced, healthy lifestyle. It’s another thing to support it with facilities at work. Our new building has an on-site gymnasium, a quiet room, and very large kitchen and eating area that supports bringing your lunch from home.
